Junior County Match Week 2025

SCLGA and Worthing Golf Club were delighted to host the annual Inter County Junior Match Week Club this year.
Five Counties (Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex) in England Golf’s designated South Region compete for two trophies during the event – Singles Match Play and Foursomes Stableford.
The singles matches took place on the Colt course. Each County played each of the other Counties. Seven girls were selected from each nominated team – 28 singles matches per County. Play was in strict Course HCP order. Scoring: 1 point for a WIN, 0.5 for a draw and 0 for a loss. No match went beyond the 18th hole.
Eight girls from each County’s nominated team play foursomes stableford on the Vardon course. The best 3 scores of 4 are added together to deliver the winner of the Stableford Foursomes trophy.
