Results from Junior "Progression" Stableford

The girls arrived at Rye with beautiful sunshine and fabulous views…..all set for a glorious 3rd Progression Stableford.  Eight girls had signed up initially, but two more late entries on Sunday extended the field to 10.

There were four girls new to the Sussex scene - it was great to welcome the girls overflowing with enthusiasm for playing a stunning links course, and a new experience for the majority of the girls out there.

Congratulations to Bea Cheverton of Nevill GC for her win with 36 stableford points, and runner up was Helena Rajaratnam from her home club with 32 points.

The winner of the 9 hole competition was Sophie Jones from Piltdown.

Well done to all our winners, and to everyone who supported the event.

A very big thank you to Rye GC for hosting the event, to the Rye membership who walked and scored - we couldn’t have done it without you….but special thanks go to Rosie Jenner who organised everything so well…..it was a great day all round. Also thanks to Jane Johnson (Lady Captain at Rye) for her help with presenting the prizes.
