Sussex presented with Mulligan Larsen Trophy

The Sussex Senior Team finished the season with the annual jamboree that was held at The Drift and run by Surrey. All the counties were well represented and Aileen Greenfield finished in the winning team as well as receiving a nearest the pin prize. Sara Whittaker was in the runners up team. 

After play, there was a meal and the presentation of the trophy from the Surrey Ladies Captain Katrina Davis. Captain of the Sussex Senior side Sara thanked her players for their time, effort and great play throughout the season and for making her job easy. She also thanked Scythinia Larsen who donated the trophy and initiated the Mulligan Larsen, for attending the proceedings today and for all that she had done for the League.

Finally Sara thanked Surrey and Belinda Pope, especially for all her hard work in bringing together the final event of the season which all the players had thoroughly enjoyed even if the greens were a little tricky!!!

Sussex are already looking forward to defending and bringing the trophy home for the third year in a row!!!
