Autumn 9 Challenge: Report & Results

We welcomed 48 ladies from 12 Sussex clubs on Monday at Rustington Golf Centre for the Autumn 9 Challenge.  The competition was a modified Team Stableford off 85% of course handicap and had a maximum handicap index of 30-54.  All three scores counted on the par 3s, two scores on par 4s and one score on par 5s. It was a beautiful and bright sunny day, the course was in excellent condition, challenging and the ladies had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Congratulations to the winners:

• 1st Place: Brenda Clift, Valerie Wills & Trishia Blewitt (Piltdown) with 39 points (on countback) (pictured) 
• 2nd Place:  Suzi Holmes, Penny Hutchings & Jill McLean (Cowdray Park) with 39 points

Nearest the Pin in one on 4th: Janet Hale (Cuckfield)
Longest Drive on 5th:  Janet Hale (Cuckfield)
Nearest the Pin in two on 8th:  Sarah Aspital (Selsey)

There was great support for the Lady Captain’s charity raffle which raised £440 for Buddies of Worthing.
