Seniors Meeting: Report & Results

Seniors Meeting, 20th June 2024 
Piltdown Golf Club

The Seniors Meeting was once again held at Piltdown Golf Club with fifty two ladies competing in the mornings singles and the afternoon as a 12 hole foursomes competition.  The weather was beautiful and sunny with a light wind. The course was magnificently presented and all ladies thoroughly enjoyed playing on fabulous fairways and fast greens.

Our thanks go to Céline Graciet (assistant Secretary) for all her help in setting up the meeting and to Phil Bonsall (General Manager), the green keepers, catering staff and other members who helped on the day.

The winner of the Handicap Cup was Clare Strong from Piltdown, in second place was Pat Johns from Dyke and third place was Jane Dryden from West Sussex.

The winner of the Scratch trophy was Katherine Russell from Royal Ashdown.

The winners of the afternoon Foursomes were Karen Smith from Copthorne and Clare Strong from Piltdown.
