SCLGA GIRLS SPRING MEETING: RESULTS

SCLGA Girls Spring Meeting, Tuesday 8th April

On a wet and windy day at Chartham Park Sussex, 16 junior girls braved the elements to compete in the first event of the season, Spring Meeting. Some excellent scoring in challenging conditions with great enthusiasm and perseverance displayed by all the competitors. Our thanks go to all the girls and Chartham Park for kindly hosting the event. The next competition is the Girls County Championships at Eastbourne Downs on July 23rd. Entry will be open shortly.

And finally, thanks also go to County Captain Pat Codd who joined us throughout and Kathy Morris for refereeing the competition. Nicole Collingwood joined us for the start of the competition to see the girls off with Pat. And Holly Crompton (Assistant Junior Organiser) who supported the youngest of our competitors (10 and 11 years old respectively) on the course and then checked all the scorecards and confirmed the results.
