Morrice Foursomes Quarter Finals - Match Report

The Morrice Foursomes quarter finals were held yesterday at West Hove Golf Club, organised by Louise Moat. The Morrice Foursomes is an inter-club knock out competition for teams of two playing foursome match play off handicap and the teams that made it to the quarter-finals were from Royal Eastbourne, Worthing, Sweetwoods, Brighton & Hove, West Sussex, Haywards Heath, Chichester and Copthorne.

The course was in excellent condition, despite the lack of rain this year, on another blisteringly hot day with temperatures exceeding 28 degrees accompanied by wall to wall sunshine.The matches were hard fought in extremely hot conditions. The four clubs progressing to the Semi-Finals are Royal Eastbourne, Brighton & Hove, West Sussex and Chichester.

The Semi-Finals and Finals will be played at Willingdon Golf Club on Monday September 8th 2025.
