SCLGA Inter Club Division Semi Finals -Div 3 & Martlets Results

Thursday was a much better day weather wise at Chichester for the re-arranged Division 3 and Martlets Semi Finals.  It was breezy which did affect the ball flight over the ditches.

Division 3
The first match started with Golf at Goodwood against Royal Ashdown Forest.  One match had been won before the storms last week giving Golf at Goodwood the first point and they went on to secure a win and place in the final.  Cuckfield won against Cowdray Park with all games going to the 18th hole.

Finals are to be held at Cowdray Park on Wednesday 13th August with the Division 1 and 2 finals.

Martlets
The Martlets match between Royal Ashdown Forest and Piltdown went to the 18th hole with Piltdown succeeding and going through to the finals. Cowdray Park won the final match against Mid Sussex. This means the Martlets final will be held at a different venue next week which has now been confirmed as Crowborough Beacon GC.
