SCLGA Inter Club Division Semi Finals -Div 1 & 2 Results Only

The forecast looked bleak and all at SCLGA and players from the respective clubs were keeping everything crossed that the forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms would pass us by.

Division 1
Division 1 semi finals started with Crowborough Beacon (pictured left) and Worthing (pictured right) winning their matches against the Dyke and West Sussex.  They will now proceed to the finals which will be held on Wednesday 13th August at Cowdray Park GC.

Division 2
The Division 2 matches followed with Mid Sussex (pictured left) beating Royal Ashdown Forest (who have held the title for the last 3 years) and then Chartham Park (pictured right) beating Sedlescombe. Both teams will now face each other at Cowdray Park on the 13th August.

Division 3 & Martlets
Sadly the Division 3 and Martlets matches had to be suspended due to the arrival of the predicted heavy rain and thunder which caused the players and teams to have to come off the course. We were hopeful of resuming the games but unfortunately play was abandoned for the day. These matches have been rescheduled for Thursday 7 August at Chichester.  Further details will be sent to the clubs as soon as possible.
