SCLGA Spring Rumble: Results

Sixty players forming 20 teams entered the Spring Rumble at Haywards Heath Golf Club. This included representation from 19 golf clubs including a team from Selsey Golf Club who played their first County competition, the first of many we hope.

Neither the temperature nor the cool breeze deterred the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the day with participants commenting on the superb condition of the course and very tricky greens. Afterwards, the golfers were treated to a delicious lunch from a menu created by the club, and a pop up shop arrived from Pure Golf allowing for some retail therapy.

It was also great to see support for the Lady Captain’s charity, “Time for Children” with the raffle raising £260 on the day.

• 1st place:  Judith Dingle, Alison Hopson - Royal Ashdown Forest and Sarah Brook - Haywards  Heath - 71 (pictured right)
• 2nd place:  Frances Cheney, Anne Cater - Golf at Goodwood and Lorraine Dunabin -  Chichester - 66 
• 3rd place: Linda Atkins, Paula Laird - Dyke and Catherine Malins - Cottesmore

NTP 7th:  Judith Dingle - Royal Ashdown Forest
NTP 17th:  Catherine Malins - Cottesmore
