SCLGA Scratch Foursomes - Day 1 Report

SCLGA SCRATCH FOURSOMES 2025 – DAY ONE

Today saw the 1st round of the SCLGA Scratch Foursomes which took place at Piltdown Golf Club,  Ten clubs competed to proceed through to the next round tomorrow, joining other teams who received a bye to the 2nd round.

The course looked very green after some welcome showers and was in excellent condition.

Results from today's matches were:

• West Sussex played West Hove with West Sussex winning 8 & 6
• Crowborough Beacon played Horsham with Crowborough winning 4 & 2
• Dyke Yellow played Willingdon with Dyke winning 2 & 1
• East Sussex National played Pyecombe with Pyecombe winning 9 & 7
• Chartham Park played Copthorne with Copthorne winning 4 & 3

Round 2 will be played tomorrow morning, with the Quarter Finals in the afternoon. Results can be viewed via the live link here.

We welcome spectators however kindly ask all to keep a respectful distance from play and to not interact with players from either team during play.
