Junior County Match Week took place from Monday 13th – 15th August 2018 at Bush Hill Park GC, Enfield, Middlesex. It’s always a very important annual event for the Juniors and sees five counties of the England South Region (Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex) compete against each other.
Each County has a team of 9 players, of which 7 play scratch singles matchplay against each of the other four counties. Selection takes place before each match for the singles match play.
The Sussex Squad for 2018 is young – aged between 13 – 18 and have handicaps between 3 and 14, they’ve had plenty of time to play together as a team and enjoyed practice rounds at Bush Hill under the watchful eye of Sussex Pro, Rob Chruszcz.
