As the golf season hots up (unlike the weather!) with this year’s Championships just around the corner, why not come along and support the players?
The Junior Girls are playing their Championships at Haywards Heath on Tuesday 31st May. There is a 36 hole scratch event for the Championship, as well as an Under 15 and handicap competition. For the higher handicap girls, there’s an 18 hole stableford in the afternoon. Please come along to support and encourage the girls, some of whom are new to golf.
A few days later, the County Championships will be played at West Sussex. On Friday 3rd June the 36 holes strokeplay will form the qualifying stage of the Championships, with the top 16 going through to the knock-out stages which are being played Saturday and Sunday. The Langridge Salver (aged 50+) and the Sussex Club Scratch Trophy (best 3 scratch scores) will also be contested on the first day. There will be plenty of high quality golf to watch, so why not come over to West Sussex and support the players – play starts at 8am/12.30pm on Friday 3rd June.
