We have very reluctantly decided to cancel the Glenda Ricketts Memorial Salver at Nevill Golf Club on Sunday 4th October.
The Nevill received a huge drenching on Friday and was closed for the day. An already waterlogged course with more heavy rain forecast for tonight is not a good combination and it’s unlikely the course will be open on Sunday.
It’s a sad end to 2020 and this decision has been taken with a very heavy heart. The organiser, Pat Codd, will contact all competitors today but ask that you let your playing partners know as soon as possible.
