Sussex Seniors v Hampshire

Our last match of the season was held at Worthing GC on Tuesday 13th September. The weather was not looking favourable, but held off for most of the match. Many thanks to Worthing GC for hosting this event, both Hampshire and Sussex teams were very impressed with the course, which was in excellent condition, and the greens were a pleasure to putt on, running fast and true. Hampshire won 2.5/1.5 but the matches were played, won and lost in a convivial manner. Many thanks to the team of Amanda Hilton & Mary Bell, Crowborough GC, Pam Homer, Golf @ Goodwood, Clare Weller, Worthing GC, Kay Grindell, Pat Johns, Carol Duncumb & Deborah James, Dyke GC.
