Thursday 27th August dawned bright and dry, when Maisie Hassall (Royal Ashdown) Mollie Wheeler (Horsham) and 2 junior boys teed off at 5.30am on the West Course in the Longest Day Challenge for MacMillan Cancer Relief.  Alongside all the various supporters, including past Captain Janie Champness who walked and ball spotted from 5.30am until the last putt was sunk on the 18th of the Old Course, the team finished this incredible feat at 7pm having raised over £2400 for MacMillan Cancer Relief.
