What a relief that we got it right!  Having cancelled the final day of Junior County Match Week and changed the format of the competition to allow for this, we were nervous that the forecast bad weather would not arrive and we would look foolish in the sunshine!

So, the wind blew, the rain poured down, we all rushed from car to clubhouse with full wet weather gear and thanked our lucky stars that we could shelter from it. Golf? Who wants to play golf?

The prize giving was held at 10.30 with the victorious Sussex team taking first place.  Surrey were runners up and were awarded the runners up plate.

Many thanks again to Haywards Heath Golf Club, and of course to all the counties and their teams of girls who participated.  It was an exciting match week regardless of the weather.

We all look forward to Junior County Match Week 2020 which will be hosted by Surrey.
