This Sunday 4th October the Glenda Ricketts Memorial Salver will be held at Nevill GC.  All golf clubs have adapted to Covid-19 rules and regulations very well, but a reminder to all players that you must wear a mask inside the clubhouse, wait to be shown a table where bar staff will take your order and deliver your food or drink.  You must not order from the bar area and remain at your designated table with a maximum of 6 people per table.

A number of ladies still haven’t returned their food orders, can you make sure this is done otherwise it may be tricky on Sunday providing last minute food delivery to your tables!

More importantly, this event is all about raising awareness of Breast Cancer so, weather permitting, the organisers plan to hold a putting competition after completion of your round.  Covid has hit many charities very hard, at Breast Cancer UK they’ve seen their income drop by nearly 50% – since we’re unable to run the raffle or the silent auction we ask for your on-going support on Sunday with the 25 foot putting challenge.

For just £5 you have 1 attempt or 3 attempts for £10 to hole out a 25 foot putt (measured out by the Pro), with 25% of the prize money split between those who hole out and the remaining money sent to Breast Cancer UK.

We look forward to seeing you at Nevill GC this Sunday armed with £’s!!
