The English Senior Women’s Amateur Champs take place at Enville GC from 13th – 17th May. We’ve a number of Sussex ladies in the field – Clarissa Bushell (West Sussex), Paula Carver (Worthing), Aileen Greenfield (Pyecombe), Iona McKean (Cottesmore) and Katherine Russell (Royal Ashdown Forest).  Good luck to all – results will be found on the England Golf website – Results

The format is 36 holes of stroke play, with the full field playing 18 holes on each of the first two days.  On day 3, there’s match play in two flights. The 32 players with the lowest scores after the stroke play qualify for the Wendy Taylor Salver (Flight 1). The winner will be the English senior women’s champion.

The players with the 16 lowest scores after the stroke play rounds, who are 60 or over on the first day of the championship, will qualify for the Ann Howard Trophy (Flight 2).
