England set the early pace on day 1 led by Paula Carver, who returned a 73 (+1), which tied as the lowest score of the day.  The 4 other scores from the England team meant that the team finished day 1 in top spot.  Day 2 was all change for the ladies as the course played harder due to a strong wind.  As a result, the scores were higher and the English team were pipped by Ireland into 3rd place and Sweden finished 1st by a single shot!
This means England  will now play France on Thursday 5th September in matchplay, the format will be one foursomes match followed by 4 singles.  Click on the link below for details.
