We made a good start in the match against Hampshire by winning the morning foursomes session 2-1.  Elodie Yates and Brandy Rook won 6&4 and one of our rookies, Salysa Mason, paired up with Chloe Briance to deliver the other point. A 2&1 win.

As always, the team were raring to go in the afternoon singles and Elodie earned the first point with a solid 5&4 win.   Lizzie Price won her match and Sasha Gardiner, in her first Counties Week, took the experienced Kerry Smith to the 18th hole. She narrowly lost but played very well.

We can’t quite put our finger on why the results haven’t gone our way but rest assured the team are giving 100% and will continue to do so to get the points on the board.

We hope that on Friday, after a well earned rest day tomorrow, we get the right amount of points to get our first win.
