The ladies of Ham Manor held a Pamper Day last week which proved a great success. Over 200 people joined in the day’s fun raising an amazing £2,000 for Canine Partners, the Captains’ charity for 2014.
The club house was completely transformed with ‘pampers’ including nails and make-up, stalls including jewellery, cards, scarves, handbags, embroidered towels, cakes and a café.
There were two catwalk fashion shows with seven of the ladies showing the latest golfing gear from Daley Sports, Nike and Green Lamb.
They were joined by John Flint and Varick, his four year old retriever canine partner. John was a Royal Marine who suffered injuries during his service and Varick has transformed his life.
Congratulations to the organising team and members of Ham Manor for raising so much money on this fun Pamper Day.
