Chelsea englandGolfMasters has made it through to the semi finals of the Mid Amateur Championship to meet the number one seed Sammy Giles of St Mellion.  Chelsea came through an up-and-down match against Gemma Clews (Delamere Forest) before eventually winning 2 up.  She was quickly ahead and, after playing the front nine in level par, was three up.  But Gemma fought back on the back nine and after 15 holes she was one ahead. Chelsea then produced a late attack, getting back to all square with a par on the 16th and grabbing a one-up lead on the 17th with a birdie. She went on to win the 18th after Gemma tangled with a tree and eventually conceded the hole.
