Twenty two teams played in the popular Autumn Bowmaker at Dale Hill on Thursday. Our Indian Summer continued, with a a warm and sunny September day and the course was in tip top condition. With teams of three, the format was best two scores to count. After a shotgun start, with two groups off on the par 5’s, the teams played in a record 3½ hours!

The Dale Hill Lady Captain Georgie Turner held a raffle for her charity, Hospice in the Weald, with four lucky tickets winning a Dale Hill four-ball voucher and a further four players winning a bottle of champagne. Dale Hill arranged a wonderful day and everyone was made to feel very welcome; a big thank you to all the ball spotters as well as the magnificent flower arrangements by Hazel Fordree in county blue and yellow, much admired by everyone!
