Mariette Putt and run at British Open Speedgolf Championship 2015

The British Open Speedgolf Championship is being played again at Dale Hill, on Sunday on 14th August.

As many of you will know, our very own Emma Morgan of Crowborough Beacon won the first Women’s British Open title last year, and then went on to come 3rd in the World Speedgolf Championship in Chicago in October.

Competitors go off individually at 6 minute intervals to ensure they have the best chance of a clear run.  Their Speedgolf score combines their total shots plus their time to complete the course.

Why not give it a go?  No experience is required, there is an early morning Speedgolf taster event being hosted at Chartham Park on Saturday 9th July.  Just 9 holes – perfect for anyone new to the sport – it only costs £15.
