breakthrough cancerFollowing the deluge of rain, wind and gales that had attacked the south coast during the last week, 64 players arrived at Nevill GC to play in the Glenda Ricketts Memorial Salvers in dry and bright conditions much to everyone’s relief. The early players finished just in time to beat the rain, unfortunately those near the back of the field played the last hour in rain. The scores reflected the damp conditions underfoot, although Pyecombe pairs posted great scores to take first and second place.

With everyone donning pink, there was a great atmosphere and the event raised £2,200 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported this great day.
