Development Overview

SCLGA Development

We have 58 affiliated clubs with nearly 3,800 playing members in Sussex. Our role is wide ranging, including to:

  • Promote and encourage play at all levels
  • Identify and nurture talent
  • Develop our elite golfers and select teams to represent the county

We have an extensive Development Programme which invests in improving the standard of golf for players of all ages and skills levels. We have a comprehensive range of sessions for adults and juniors with our team of county coaches.

Development For All

Our popular Development For All are informal and fun and take place on Sunday mornings over the Winter.  Our Pro,  Lee Andrews at Mid-Sussex, has an indoor facility which can cater for inclement weather!  So rest assured that the sessions will take place whatever the weather conditions.

  • Sunday 29th October 2017   10am – 12pm
  • Sunday 26th November 2017 10am – 12pm
  • Sunday 14th January 2018   10am – 12pm
  • Sunday 4th February 2018 10am – 12pm
  • Sunday 4th March 2018  10am – 12pm
  • Sunday 18th March 10am – 12pm
