28 teams of three played in the ever popular County Rumble at Cooden Beach on Thursday in glorious sunshine on a beautiful day.  The course was in wonderful condition and the team at Cooden Beach made everybody feel very welcome (and well fed!)  There were some excellent scores and all five prizes were won on count back!

A highlight of the day was the hole in one from Janis Kinnear of Copthorne, using a 7 iron the team watched with glee as they saw the ace!  Pictured right, being presented with a bottle of champagne.

Rosemary Barford, the Lady Captain raffled a round of golf at Cooden Beach to raise an amazing £235 for her charity Macmillan Cancer Support.  Well done and thank you everybody.
